Guided instruction in Joshua Tree is available for traditional climbing gear placements, rock climbing anchor building, leading rock climbing, rappelling, and general rock climbing movement efficiency and techniques. Or if you simply want to get out on the rock in Joshua Tree and have some fun and leave all the technical aspects to our guides, our guides will be happy to "show you the ropes". The Climbing Life Guides believes in its guides. Nelson Day, the lead guide and owner, is currently the guide with the highest level of professional certification in all of Joshua Tree! All of our guides are company employees who receive benefits including worker's compensation insurance. Other guiding services hire guides as independent contractors who receive no company benefits. The Climbing Life Guides has been raising the bar as an employer in the guiding industry by compensating our guides with professional wages and expecting nothing less than 5 star professional guiding service from our employees. We not only believe in a superior product, but also in a superior employment situation for each guide employed in our service.
